Our Cleaning Process

Getting your carpet cleaned professionally offers several advantages that go beyond what regular vacuuming or DIY methods can achieve:

Deep cleaning: At Morley's we use specialized equipment and a powerful hot water extraction cleaning process to penetrate deep into the carpet fibres. This removes embedded dirt, allergens and stains that regular cleaning can't. We carry out a 5 stage cleaning process  that includes:

  1. Pre inspection and vacuum using a commercial grade vacuum cleaner removing any dry dirt prior to cleaning.
  2. A pre conditioning solution is applied to the carpet to loosen dirt, oil stains. This step is crucial for breaking down the debris embedded deep in the fibres. The pre conditioner will be formulated specific to the job in hand, specialist additives and/or fragranced boosters will be used accordingly.
  3. The carpet is agitated with a professional grade rotary machine, effectively massaging the conditioner in to the carpet. This helps distribute the cleaning solution deep into the carpet and enhances its effectiveness in loosening dirt.
  4. Our market leading extraction machine injects a hot water rinse agent into the carpet under high pressure, whilst simultaneously using a powerful twin vacuum to extract the now dirty water. The high pressure hot water rinse kills bacteria and allergens, while the strong suction removes up to 95% of moisture, preventing over wetting and promoting faster drying times.
  5. Although we can never promise to fully remove every stain, any stains that did not come out during the extraction process will receive additional treatment with specialist stain removers.
  6. Finally the carpet will be groomed to restore their texture and appearance this also helps drying by loosening the fibres. Air movers will be used to speed up the drying process when needed.
  7. An additional stain protection can be added to the carpet upon completion, it creates a protective barrier over the fibres and help prevent spills from penetrating the fibres.
